This piece is taken from the collection "Luci e Voci", made at a Christmas initiative proposed by the "Trasmissioni" association, which was held in the ancient town of Tivoli (a lovely and full of history small town near Rome), from 12 to 24 December 2014.

Some talented musicians of different backgrounds -Pino Forastiere, Paolo Pallante, Theo Allegretti, Paolo Alimonti, Andrea Cauduro, Lorenzo Rundo, La Vertuosa Compagnia de’ Musici di Roma-, have rearranged each of them a piece of the Christmas tradition.

This music has been published in a "musical postcard" (a physical postcard with music in digital download), produced by "Accordature Aperte" to contribute economically to the entire initiative.

Moreover, during all over the event these songs were the “soundtrack” transmitted through the streets of the burg through a radio link specially made by the Italian Association of Antique Radio (AIRE).

The particular reinterpretation at the piano by Theo Allegretti of traditional song "Amazing Grace" is a version significantly different from that presented in the above collection and through different techniques and styles moves away from the main theme to propose some improvisational variations.
